Welcome!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, practicing in the heart of Hayes Valley, San Francisco.

Authentic expression is at the root of my practice, and I strive to create a space where you can let your walls down and explore openly and comfortably. I believe we all have an innate ability to heal and grow.

Why I Use EMDR with Clients

My goal is to embrace you with warmth and compassion while you explore the root causes of what has kept you from living your best life.

I use EMDR therapy to help process and integrate traumatic memories, transforming distressing experiences into sources of strength and resilience. I have seen profound transformation in my clients through the application of EMDR, and I feel passionately about its positive effect.

I invite you to embark of a journey of deep self love and transformation with me. Finding your way into a trusted relationship with a therapist is one of the most intimate and special connections you can cultivate. Having someone in your corner who can illuminate opportunities, cheer you on and witness your growth is invaluable.

About Me

I was born in San Francisco, and though I have lived in Chicago and New York, Japan and Sonoma, I am proud to call San Francisco my home.

This city has shaped my world view, and I am grateful to have its creative, innovative and edgy influence in my life.

As a queer person, I understand the importance of having safe spaces, which the city has provided me, to explore identity and promote true self-expression. I feel passionately about contributing to San Francisco’s legacy of acceptance and celebration by creating space in my office for safety and healing.

It was in San Francisco where I had my first positive experience with therapy, which called me to this work. Having someone who cared about me, saw me and supported my growth was invaluable. That early work helped inform my intention to hold space for others with unconditional positive regard.

In my own practices and healing work, I understand the importance of peeling back the layers to find authenticity at the root of ourselves. There’s a limit to what we can do alone. Again and again, I’ve seen that the therapeutic bond helps reveal the great wisdom that lies at the center of us all.

It’s a privilege to hold this sacred container for healing, and I value the trust placed in me in the therapist role.

If my services sound inviting to you, I welcome you to book a 15 minute discovery call to see if we are in alignment.

I look forward to connecting with you soon.
